WEF Nachlese: Neue Weltfinanzordnung gefordert
Mit einem Aufruf für eine neue Weltfinanzordnung ist das diesjährige World Economic Forum (WEF) zu Ende gegangen. Initiator Klaus Schwab sagte, dass „jetzt die harte Arbeit“ beginnen müsse. Die in Davos formulierte «Global Redesign Initiative» will die G20-Staaten bei der Ausarbeitung einer neuen Agenda für die Finanzwelt unterstützen. In unserem Davos-Spezial dokumentieren wir aus CSR-Sicht einige wichtige Texte, Reden und Initiativen.

Statement des UN Global Compact zur Finanzkrise
Die globale Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise wirft eine Menge grundlegender Fragen auf: Wie sollten Märkte in Zukunft gestaltet werden, damit sich ein ähnlicher Crash nicht wiederholt? Wie kann das Vertrauen in die Wirtschaft wiedergewonnen werden? Werden Unternehmen auch in der Krise weiterhin in CSR investieren oder ihre Prioritäten anders setzten? Und welche Rolle wird der UN Global Compact künftig spielen? Antwort darauf gibt ein Positionspapier des Global Compact Office (GCO) mit dem Titel „Why the UN Global Compact and Corporate Sustainability Are Needed More Than Ever“.
