Interface als Best Company ausgezeichnet
Global modular flooring manufacturer, Interface, has been recognised for its achievements in sustainability at the prestigious Ethical Corporation, Responsible Business Awards 2016. Interface was awarded Best Company and its Chairman and CEO, Dan Hendrix, was honoured as CEO of the Year, with the award accepted on his behalf by Rob Boogaard, President and CEO of Interface EMEA.

The judges noted: “Interface has put environmental stewardship at the forefront of sustainable business with particular focus on the company’s Mission Zero goal to eliminate any negative environmental footprint by 2020 and bold new mission examining what companies can do to reverse climate change.”
Now in its seventh year, the Ethical Corporation, Responsible Business Awards celebrate the world’s leading organisations in CSR, sustainable supply chains, and communications.
Dan Hendrix, Chairman and CEO of Interface, Inc. commented: “Interface has been a leader in sustainable business for over twenty years, and it’s always an honour to be recognised for this work. In addition to its award wins, Interface was also a finalist in the Sustainable Innovation and Most Effective International Community Investment categories, for the world’s first recycled Polyvinylbutyral (PVB) precoat and inclusive business, Net-Works, respectively.
This year’s ceremony took place on 30th September at the Hilton Waldorf in London and was attended by over 120 leading business executives.
